Trying to understand ....

Thanks - i'm trying to understand, i guess, more than anything....

From what I think I understand, the issue is that a doclink in the format: notes://server/replicaid does not open the correct document/notes database/replica/etc.

Further, it seems that the incorrect database is often being opened, where the first few characters on the replica id are correct, but the remaining part of the replica id are not correct.

So, it seems like a Notes issue. (he says, thinking out loud)

What version(s) of notes are involved?

Have you tried a more current version of Notes?

Can you create a doclink from within Notes, and also get it to fail (from within Notes) ?

I've never seen this issue in all my years - but we've skipped a few versions here and there...
